Original Okinawa Karate, located in Lansing, Michigan USA, is the dojo of Seikichi Iha, Hanshi 10th Dan. Iha Sensei has been teaching the Shido-kan style of karate at this location since 1976.

In addition, this dojo is the headquarters (Hombu dojo) for the North American Beikoku Shido-kan Association, that encompasses active members training in over thirty affiliated dojos located throughout North America in Alaska, California, Maryland, Michigan, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Texas, Washington D.C., Ontario Canada as well as Australia, Israel and Russia.

Try a complimentary class! New students are welcome to join at any time. Both youth and adult classes are available. Because the study of karate-do can become a long-term personal investment, it is recommended that you observe or participate in a class, talk with the instructors and then decide if the dojo and style are right for you.
